Papa had scope done. They went down his esophagus, into stomach, and were able to find a few areas that they then cauterized. One in particular was where there was an incision made during his surgery. Dr. explained that in surgery, the tissues in his stomach were inflamed and that now those tissues are shrinking and this could be the cause of the bleed (at the site where it was stitched). It sounds like they were happy with the results of the procedure. Also, they are replacing the old dialysis catheter with a new, longer one. They were having trouble with it clotting and say by inserting this longer one, it will access a larger vein which will be less likely to have this problem.
