Visited with renal nurse this morning. Papa received a new dialysis line and they took him off of the CRRT machine. They are trying him on regular dialysis now. It will remove more fluid from his body more quickly. The other machine is for use in critical patients who cannot tolerate regular dialysis...so hopefully all will go well and he will be able to receive the regular dialysis treatment without any trouble.
Papa was on pain medicine when we went in to see him, so he was almost asleep ..not at all like yesterday. His nurse was super busy, so we didn't get many details, but he did have his first b.m. which is good news.
