Papa had a good day yesterday.  He received CRRT dialysis on Thursday night.   Yesterday we shaved him, trimmed his nails and cleaned him up as best we could.  He looked so nice when we were done...if only we could wash that hair!  He is drinking broth for his meals ( Grandmother even sent some homemade chicken broth for him).....and jello and fruit juices are now his diet, and he is enjoying it.  Papa sat for a couple of hours in his chair and again today is doing the same.  This is a huge thing for him, no blood pressure issues while up in his chair.  The best news for today is that he was able to tolerate regular dialysis.  His white cell count did go down to 20.8 from  26 yesterday.  He has had 2 "good " days in a row...this has never happened before , so let's hope this is a new beginning !  Thanks for all the prayers..they are working!
