Tuesday January 10th, 10:30 p.m.

Sorry  I am late with my entry...just slowing down now.  Papa received a dialysis treatment last night and then was removed from CRRT machine.  The renal team wants to monitor his electrolytes , potassium and ( other ?) levels.  This is just temporary and he will probably return to dialysis either tonight or tomorrow.  White cell count has dropped from 29 to 25.8.  Dr.s have Papa on Doripenem, another antibiotic which seems to be helping bring the white count down.   Papa does have a pneomothorax...air space on lung or collapsed lung.  They will have to replace the tube going to his lung once again.  Physical therapy came in today and worked with him for a little while,  moving his arms and legs around.
We need to pray for his kidneys to do their thing!  Thank you!
